DESCRIPTION:Misa a Buenos Aires (misa tango)\nM. Palmeri\nEstro Armonico\nLux Vocalis \nFirst performed in 1996\, Misa Tango by Martín Palmeri is one of the most performed contemporary pieces. Mixing the Argentinian rhythms of traditional tango and the classic form of a mass. We therefore find the mass in its historical form with rich counterpoints\, shimmering harmonies\, sometimes close to Jazz while retaining the religiosity and depth of a mass. \nThe Luxembourg premiere of this mass was performed in May 2016\, under the direction of Thomas Raoult\, who was then invited by Martín Palmeri to sing it with him at the Konzerthaus in Vienna in August 2017. \nTickets are available on Luxembourg-ticket.
